Oppo Pad Mini

Looking for a tablet that's powerful enough for work and entertainment but doesn't feel like a big slab to carry around? Oppo has introduced the Pad Mini, its first compact 8.8-inch tablet in India. It weighs 282g and measures 5.46mm in thickness, making it a fairly portable option for those who want a tablet on the go. It features a 2.5K OLED display with a 92.5 per cent screen-to-body ratio, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and peak brightness of 1,600 nits. There's also a nano-texture matte display designed to minimise glare, along with TUV Rheinland eye-comfort certification.

Under the hood, the Oppo Pad Mini runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and packs an 8,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Oppo says a 10-minute charge can deliver up to four hours of video playback. The tablet also supports cross-device connectivity with iOS, Android and Windows through O+ Connect, allowing file transfers and screen collaboration. It is compatible with the Oppo Pencil 3 Pro, which supports features such as AI Smart Circle, Screen-Off Quick Notes and Doodle to Art.

Going by the specs, the tablet looks promising. Of course, we can't give a final verdict just yet, as we haven't reviewed it. But if you're looking for a compact tablet for work, entertainment and everyday use, the Oppo Pad Mini seems like one to keep an eye on. The Oppo Pad Mini (8GB RAM + 256GB storage) is priced at Rs 94,999 in India.

Oppo Enco X4

Along with its flagship Find X10 series and the Pad Mini, Oppo has also launched its next-generation Enco X4 earbuds in India. Co-developed with Dynaudio, the Enco X4 promises a premium audio experience with a focus on sound quality, comfort and smart features. They support LHDC Lossless audio transmission, five Dynaudio Master Tuning presets and spatial audio, while adaptive active noise cancellation adjusts to different surroundings. Oppo says it has also redesigned the noise-isolating ear tips for a more comfortable fit.

There's plenty beyond audio, too. The Enco X4 supports AI-powered real-time translation across 24 languages, hands-free access to Google Gemini, AI Clear Call and Conversation Awareness, which adjusts music playback when you speak. It also includes neck-health monitoring, sleep tracking and a recording feature that turns the earbuds into external microphones. The earbuds support dual-device connectivity across Android, iOS and Windows, offer up to 53 hours of total battery life and carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
