Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo opened on October 16 through Apple's online store and other authorised retail channels. According to a Mint report, around 6,000 units are expected to reach India during the first week.
Apple has not officially confirmed this inventory figure. Reports also suggest that limited supply has led some buyers to turn to grey-market sellers, where the device may be offered at a premium over its retail price.
iPhone Duo: Price in India
Apple has introduced the iPhone Duo in four storage variants. The 256GB model costs ₹2,99,900, while the 512GB version is priced at ₹3,24,900. The 1TB variant costs ₹3,74,900, and the top-end 2TB model is available for ₹4,49,900. The smartphone comes in Star White and Night Sky colour options.
How to buy the iPhone Duo in India
Customers can place orders through the Apple Online Store or the Apple Store app. The device is also available through Apple retail stores, Lotus Electronics, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales and select authorised retail partners.
However, buyers planning to purchase the device by visiting a store should check availability before travelling.
According to Reuters, India is among the markets where customers can collect online orders in-store rather than purchase the device directly over the counter. Pickup options will depend on stock availability at checkout.
Apple has six retail stores in India: Apple Saket in New Delhi, Apple Noida at DLF Mall of India, Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru, Apple BKC and Apple Borivali in Mumbai, and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune. Customers should check the official store listings for the latest opening hours and available services.
iPhone Duo: Launch offers and discounts
Apple is offering several benefits to eligible buyers. These include instant cashback of up to ₹7,000 on eligible American Express, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank cards, along with no-cost EMI options for up to 12 months on eligible purchases.
Customers can also receive Apple Trade In benefits of up to ₹81,500, depending on the device being exchanged and its condition.
iPhone Duo: Specifications and features
The iPhone Duo features a 5.4-inch outer display that unfolds into a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR screen. It is powered by Apple's A20 Pro chip and runs iOS 27. Its foldable design supports features such as Split View multitasking and StandBy, which can turn the device into a clock or information display.
For photography, the phone includes a 48MP Fusion Main camera and a 48MP Fusion Ultra-Wide camera. It also has a 12MP Centre Stage front camera and an under-display FaceTime camera. Video recording is supported at up to 4K resolution at 120 frames per second.
