The motorcycle gets an ergonomically contoured fuel tank designed to improve knee grip and rider comfort. Its lighting package includes a full LED headlamp with an ambient light sensor, projector high beam, H-shaped daytime running lights, an H-shaped LED tail lamp and full LED indicators. Red and black front wheel rim options are also available.
Engine, performance and service intervalsThe Xtreme 160R 4V is powered by a 163cc, four-valve, oil-cooled engine producing 17.1 PS at 8,750 rpm and 14.6 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Hero MotoCorp claims a 0-60 km/h acceleration time of 4.4 seconds, describing it as the fastest motorcycle in its segment. The engine also features a finned oil cooler designed to maintain thermal stability during extended riding.
The company says the motorcycle requires no oil change or tappet setting until 6,000 km, helping simplify ownership.
Ride-by-wire, riding modes and cruise controlThe updated motorcycle gets electronic throttle control, or ride-by-wire, which enables three riding modes: Rain, Road and Sport.
Rain mode offers softer throttle response for slippery conditions, Road mode provides balanced power delivery for everyday use, and Sport mode delivers sharper throttle response.
The Xtreme 160R 4V also gets cruise control, which Hero MotoCorp describes as a segment-first feature.
Safety features and suspensionThe motorcycle comes with dual-channel ABS and 276 mm front and 220 mm rear petal disc brakes. It also introduces a Panic Brake Alert system that notifies surrounding traffic during sudden, hard braking.
Suspension duties are handled by 37 mm KYB upside-down front forks and a seven-step preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Radial tubeless tyres, including a 130/70 R17 rear tyre, are designed to provide grip and stability.
TFT console, connectivity and comfortThe Xtreme 160R 4V features a new TFT instrument console displaying riding modes, gear position, shift advisory, cruise control status, distance to empty and real-time mileage. The display also has automatic brightness adjustment.
Bluetooth connectivity enables call and message alerts, music controls, phone battery status and turn-by-turn navigation. Other features include illuminated soft-touch switches, an integrated kill-start switch, hazard lights and a Type-C fast charger.
The motorcycle also gets five-step adjustable brake and clutch levers, a revised riding position and an ergonomically contoured seat. The seat is 16 mm longer, measuring 642.9 mm, and buyers can choose between single-seat and split-seat configurations.
Refreshed Hero Xtreme 250R: Design updatesHero MotoCorp has also refreshed the Xtreme 250R with styling and finish enhancements. Updates include gold-anodised front forks, carbon-fibre hydro-dipped panels, coloured rims with rim tapes, revised graphics and embossed detailing.

Engine and performance of the Xtreme 250RThe Xtreme 250R is powered by a 250cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve DOHC engine producing 30 PS at 9,250 rpm and 25.3 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.
Hero MotoCorp claims a 0-60 km/h acceleration time of 3.2 seconds and describes the motorcycle as the fastest in its segment.
Cruise control, quickshifter and four riding modesThe refreshed Xtreme 250R introduces cruise control and Hero MotoCorp's first sensorless bi-directional quickshifter. The quickshifter enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts without closing the throttle.
The motorcycle also gets four riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport and Track. These modes adjust performance characteristics for different riding conditions, from slippery roads to track use.
TPMS and frequency-selective damping suspensionThe Xtreme 250R features a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that displays real-time tyre pressure and temperature, with colour-coded alerts when pressure is too high or too low.
It also gets frequency-selective damping (FSD) rear suspension, which Hero MotoCorp describes as a first in the two-wheeler industry. The system uses an additional FSD piston to provide two rebound-damping profiles based on the frequency of road inputs.
The motorcycle retains its rigid trellis frame and 43 mm upside-down front forks.
TFT console and connectivity on the Xtreme 250RThe refreshed Xtreme 250R gets a full-colour TFT instrument cluster with a lap timer and drag timer. Bluetooth connectivity enables call and message alerts, phone battery status and turn-by-turn navigation.
