Klopp trims his Germany squad from 44 to 24 for the Nations League, bringing back in-form Fuellkrug, handing teenager Mohya a surprise call-up and leaving out big names.
Germany boss Jurgen Klopp has brought Niclas Fullkrug back into the national team fold, naming the veteran striker in a 24-man group for the November Nations League matches.
Borussia Monchengladbach teenager Wael Mohya earned an unexpected call-up for the away game against Serbia and the home tie with the Netherlands in Berlin.
Nick Woltemade, Karim Adeyemi, Nadiem Amiri and David Raum are among those who missed out, while Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry remain sidelined with long-term injuries.
Klopp, whose contract runs until after the 2030 World Cup, spoke of the need for a younger side built for long-term development, yet could not overlook the sparkling form of 33-year-old Fuellkrug.
Fullkrug has netted 12 goals in 10 appearances across all competitions since going back to Werder Bremen in the summer, following a disappointing season-long loan at West Ham.
