Mr. Madhu Yadav claimed that the Yadav community had a population of more than 60,000 in Vizianagaram city alone. He added that the community maintained amicable relations with other communities.

"The TDP is keen to encourage Backward Classes (BCs) in elections, but it should not neglect the third-largest community in the district. Allocation of the mayor post is the best option as it is unable to allocate MP and MLA seats," he added.

The Association leaders Muddada Madhu, Golagana Ramesh, Ippili Srinivasa Rao, Naidana Sateesh and others were present.
