Haryana Congress will launch the third phase of its statewide 'Save Vote - Save Democracy Chaupal' campaign from November 3, which will continue till November 25.
Haryana Congress In-charge Sanjay Dutt on Monday (November 2, 2026) said that the campaign will be formally launched on November 3 from Ladwa, the Assembly constituency represented by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
"The objective of this campaign is to sensitise the people about their constitutional right to vote, strengthen public participation in ensuring the fairness and transparency of electoral rolls, and establish a robust organisational and mass-movement mechanism to safeguard the vote of every eligible voter,"
As part of this campaign, which will be led by Mr. Dutt and Haryana Pradesh Congress President Rao Narender Singh, 'Chaupals' (community gatherings) will be organised across villages throughout Haryana to establish direct interaction with citizens, youth, women, farmers, labourers and various sections of society, said Mr. Dutt.
"During the campaign, Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and Congress workers will actively scrutinise electoral rolls at the booth level and take necessary steps to ensure that the names of all eligible voters are duly included. Also, dedicated teams will be constituted and activated at every polling booth, with clearly defined responsibilities for party workers to safeguard the voting rights of citizens," he said.
Mr. Dutt said the BJP must answer the serious questions concerning the voting rights of the people of India. "The integrity of electoral rolls, fairness of the electoral process, and the independent and transparent functioning of the Election Commission are fundamental prerequisites of democracy. The Congress Party will continue to raise the people's voice on these critical issues and fight with full determination to protect the vote of every eligible citizen," he said.
