BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia on Tuesday accused Congress and other opposition parties of having links to anarchic figures. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gaurav Bhatia on Tuesday accused Congress and other opposition parties of having links to anarchic figures and to people participating in violent protests, citing a sting operation at a Delhi press conference.
At a press conference, Gaurav Bhatia said, "I will talk about some key anarchic figures whose links are connected to the Congress party and other opposition parties, and who are also participating in violent protests. The first person is Maulana Siraj Khan. I will place before you what he has said and the larger message I want to convey through this press conference."
He added, You will see that what the Bharatiya Janata Party and the citizens of India had been saying is now reflected in these sting operations, where details from behind the scenes are coming out. The Congress and other opposition parties take an oath in the name of the Constitution, but have so much poison in their minds for Mother India. They are like venomous snakes..."
Slamming Rahul Gandhi, he said, "Rahul Gandhi has become a leader who wants to bring anarchy by killing democracy and strangling it. All senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party have witnessed this. Yesterday, our party's national president, Nitin Nabin, also took part in a march titled 'Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy'. Home Minister Amit Shah also took out a march, with a large number of people accompanying him."
"Why is this happening? It is because if there is one thing that India and Indians detect and hate, it is anarchy and violent protests. Indians, by nature, have faith in the Constitution and crush anarchy under their feet. Violent protests are not in the DNA of Indians," Bhatia lashes out at the Opposition.
