Reliance Industries will announce its September-quarter results on October 30, alongside considering fundraising through non-convertible debentures. Investors will track performance across O2C, telecom, retail and energy businesses amid share price weakness and market uncertainty.
Reliance Industries (RIL) on Tuesday announced that its board of directors will meet on October 30 to consider and approve its financial results for the September quarter and a proposal to raise funds through non-convertible debentures (NCDs).
In an exchange filing dated October 27, the Mukesh Ambani-led conglomerate said the board would consider its standalone and consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026.
The board will also consider raising funds through the issuance of listed, secured or unsecured, redeemable non-convertible debentures on a private placement basis, in one or more tranches. The company did not disclose the proposed fundraising amount or other terms of the NCD issuance.
Reliance said it would hold an analyst meeting following the board meeting to discuss its quarterly financial performance.
The announcement comes as investors await the earnings performance of the company's key businesses, including oil-to-chemicals (O2C), telecom, retail and oil and gas, following a mixed set of results in the June quarter.
The results will also come two days after the scheduled stock market debut of Reliance's telecom and digital services subsidiary,
Jio Platforms, on October 28.
How Reliance performed in Q1
Reliance Industries reported a 22.4% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders to Rs 20,946 crore for the June quarter, compared with Rs 26,994 crore in the corresponding period last year. The decline was largely due to a high base in the year-ago quarter, which included a one-time gain of Rs 8,924 crore from the sale of listed investments.
Revenue from operations, however, increased 25% YoY to Rs 3,11,850 crore from Rs 2,48,660 crore.
Its oil-to-chemicals business reported a 30% rise in revenue, with segment EBITDA increasing 17.2% to Rs 17,010 crore. The digital services business also delivered strong growth, with Jio Platforms' EBITDA rising 15.1% to Rs 20,865 crore, supported by higher subscriber additions and improved monetisation.
The proposed NCD fundraising will therefore be another development to watch alongside the September-quarter earnings.
