Ekta Kaushlya met her future husband Parth Chamaria during her first Rapido ride. Parth, a national athlete, drove for the service to support his sports career. Ekta, now a Bollywood choreographer, said, "I didn't know that it would change my life." They supported each other's dreams through many years.
What began as a woman's first-ever Rapido ride turned into an unexpected romance after she discovered her driver was an athlete who had represented India.
A routine bike ride booked through Rapido became the start of a relationship for Ekta Kaushlya and Parth Chamaria. What began as a conversation between a passenger and her driver eventually turned into a love story, with both finding ways to support each other's careers.
The couple shared their journey in a video posted by the Instagram page Official People of India. Ekta, a choreographer, recalled how she had no idea that her first Rapido ride would lead to such an important chapter in her life.
"I didn't know that it would change my life," she said. During the journey, Ekta learnt that Parth was also an athlete who had represented India. He had started driving for Rapido because he was facing money troubles and needed to earn enough to support himself and continue pursuing sports.
His commitment to athletics made an impression on Ekta. Although the ride ended, she found herself thinking about him and decided to contact him later that night.
A Rapido Ride Turned Into A Love Story
"He dropped me off but I couldn't stop thinking about him," she recalled. Ekta took the first step by sending Parth a message. Their conversations led to more meetings, and the two began spending time together whenever their busy schedules allowed.
Parth had to make time for his training, while Ekta had rehearsals and choreography work. Despite their demanding routines, they kept meeting and getting to know each other.
"So we met again and again, stealing moments between his training and my rehearsals. Somewhere between those conversations, we became each other's homes," Ekta said.
Both Went On To Make Progress In Their Careers
As their relationship grew, both continued working towards their professional goals. Parth represented India at the World Championship last year, while Ekta got the chance to perform alongside Bollywood stars, including Ranveer Singh.
The couple said their journey had helped them grow together, with each supporting the other's dreams. For Ekta, what started as an ordinary ride became something she had never expected.
"Never knew a single bike ride would lead me to the love of my life," she said. Their story also drew warm responses from viewers who watched the couple share how they first met.
One user wrote, "What a beautiful love story and what an absolutely adorable couple." Another wished them well, commenting, "All the best to you guys. May God bless you with happiness, peace and abundance."
