Three suspects, including a 17-year-old, were arrested in Kota, Rajasthan, while allegedly attempting to flee to Jaipur. Why was Tiger Shroff attacked?

During interrogation, the minor reportedly told investigators that he was unaware of the motive behind the attack. According to The Times of India, police sources said the alleged assailant had been told by Anil Pandit that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang wanted to avenge Tiger Shroff's 2022 remark praising Salman Khan. The Mumbai Police are investigating the claim, and the alleged motive has not yet been independently established.

Tiger had said at the time that Salman was the only "tiger" in the film industry. He said, "Is industry mein ek hi hai Tiger, aur woh hai Salman Sir. I am just a billi in front of him. I am Simba, a tiger cub..." However, the alleged motive remains subject to investigation.

The three accused have been identified as a 17-year-old from Haryana, the son of a potter; Hrithik Kumar, alias Roshan, a 22-year-old resident of Piprai in Bihar's Begusarai district who worked as a Rapido rider; and Rehan, an 18-year-old resident of Idgah Colony in Sonepat, Haryana. All three have been remanded to police custody until October 28. The Mumbai Police are continuing their investigation to establish the sequence of events and gather evidence. Although the police had sought custody until October 31, the court granted an extension only until October 28.
