Bollywood is on high alert after the Tiger Shroff firing incident on October 18. As the security is tightened all around in the wake of the incident, celebrities are speaking up about the fear and anxiety it brings. Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who has worked with Jackie Shroff a few times, reacted to the incident and wondered why it happened. He shared why the firing incident was scary but also an eye-opener.

In an interview with Mid-Day, Neil Nitin Mukesh said that he knew the Shroff family well and said Jackie was like a "father figure" to them. Both families have known each other for generations, and Neil has worked with the veteran actor on the films Saaho (2019) and Firrkie (2015). Calling Tiger a "nice, well-brought-up boy", Neil asked why something like this would happen to the younger actor.
Neil, who was last seen in Khalifa, also said that the firing incident was both scary and an eye-opener. He shared, "It reminds us to be humble, grounded and a little quiet at times. Episodes like this bring a bit of fear and insecurity to everyone." The actor went on to add that if actors are rushing out and don't want to interact with the public, they are judged for that. So it becomes a two-way street.
More about the Tiger Shroff attack
Earlier today, a report stated that Tiger recorded his statement with the Mumbai Crime Branch a week after the firing incident in Mumbai's Juhu. The actor is said to have said that he was in deep shock and asked why he was attacked. However, later in the day, the actor's spokesperson refuted the report and said, "This news is completely untrue. Tiger has not made any such statement. No such thing has happened."
The Heropanti 2 star was leaving the football grounds on October 18 in his BMW when three shooters fired three to four rounds. The actor escaped with a few scrapes, but his driver, Firdaus, and a Bollywood vlogger, Umesh Chauhan, were injured in the crossfire. Two men from Haryana and one from Bihar were arrested and have been remanded to police custody until October 28. An investigation is still ongoing with the Mumbai Police.
