The Paradise OTT Version: Nani’s Film Is 23 Minutes Shorter Than Theatrical Cut
Nani’s most talked-about film, The Paradise, has landed on OTT. The film, which is now streaming on Netflix in over five languages, including Hindi, continues to remain in the spotlight following its theatrical run. Despite receiving mixed reactions from audiences, the Srikanth Odela directorial maintained a decent hold at the box office, earning over Rs 170 crore. However, viewers watching the film on Netflix will notice a shorter version compared to its theatrical release, with the digital cut running around 23 minutes less and certain scenes missing. Here's what is trimmed in the digital version of the film.
The Paradise OTT Release: Runtime Reduced From 2 Hours 53 Minutes To 2 Hours 30 Minutes, Three Scenes Removed
Those who have watched its theatrical version of Nani's film will find that the OTT cut has a shorter runtime. The theatrical version ran for approximately 2 hours and 53 minutes, while the Netflix version runs for around 2 hours and 30 minutes. This puts the difference at approximately 23 minutes.
One of the changes in the Netflix version is the removal of Sonali Kulkarni’s dance sequence during the Dhoomavathi episode. The digital cut also features enhanced graphics in certain portions, while the end credits have been slowed down.

The reason behind the shorter runtime has not been officially confirmed by the makers. While the film received criticism over its pacing, in the second half, there is no confirmed statement saying that the Netflix version was trimmed to address the feedback.
Nani Reacts To Audience Response For The Paradise
At the film’s success meet, Nani had addressed the strong reactions surrounding The Paradise and defended the team amid the varied responses. The actor said the film had become a talking point, with people discussing it wherever he went. “There is no good noise today, there is only noise. And the most noise a film has made in 2026 is The Paradise,” he said, expressing gratitude to Telugu audiences for their support and feedback.
A few days earlier, Nani had also responded to the mixed reactions to the film through a social media post. He said he had gone through the audience’s responses, enjoyed the humorous trolls and taken note of the shortcomings shared by critics and reviewers. “I have seen all your reactions and responses. I’ve received all your love and equally enjoyed your hilarious trolls."
Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise marks his second collaboration with Nani after their 2023 film Dasara. The film also stars Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal and Mohan Babu in key roles.
