Sunny Deol's Suryaa To Bring Udit Narayan And Kumar Sanu Together After 21 Years | Report

Singers Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu are reuniting after 21 years to sing a new track titled Suniyo Zara for Sunny Deol's upcoming film Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak.

If you grew up listening to Bollywood songs in the 90s and early 2000s, this news might make you smile! Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu, two singers whose voices were a big part of that era, are reportedly coming together again for a new song. Their reunion has a Sunny Deol connection!

According to a report by Variety India, the singers will join hands for Suniyo Zara, the first song from Sunny Deol's upcoming film Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak. The track will feature Sunny Deol and Ravi Kishan, along with other actors from the film.

It has been a long wait for fans of these two musical legends! Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu last recorded a song together for the 2005 film No Entry. Their track was called Kahaan Ho Tum.

Now, 21 years later, the singers are reportedly back behind the microphone for Suniyo Zara. Their reunion is also special because they are working with Sunny Deol for the first time in 24 years. The duo had earlier sung for his 2002 film Karz - The Burden Of Truth.

The new song is a friendship anthem, and the makers have brought together a team of familiar music talents for it. RAAHEE, who is associated with Pritam's JAM8, has composed the track. Singer Anupam Amod will also join Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu. The lyrics have been penned by Priya Saraiya, who is married to Jigar Saraiya of the music duo Sachin-Jigar.

Suniyo Zara will be released under the Zee Music Company label. The teaser is set to arrive on October 26, while the full song will be released on October 27, 2026. It will be the first song from Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak, a crime thriller directed by M Padmakumar.

The film has also been in the news for another reason. The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has raised objections to the portrayal of doctors in the film and the depiction of violence against medical workers.

Interestingly, Suniyo Zara is not the only friendship song bringing the two singers together. Last week, Kumar Sanu shared a behind-the-scenes video from their recording session for another track, Tera Mera Yaarana.

Sharing the video, he wrote, "Some melodies stay in your heart forever. I sang with @uditnarayanmusic Tera Mera Yaarana -- a special song crafted to celebrate true friendship and togetherness. Bring your best friends and get ready to sing along!"

The song has been written and composed by Sanjeev Chaturvedi, while Abhishek Kumar Singh has directed the video. The clip shows Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu singing together, enjoying the session and having a good time.
