Sony Pictures has acquired the rights to release A24’s You Can See Everything, Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim’s documentary about Elizabeth Holmes, in India. The film, which opened in the US last week, had one of the biggest openings for a documentary in the country.
Shot secretly over three years, the film offers a closer look at the strange relationship that developed after the convicted Theranos founder invited the filmmakers into her home 34 days before she was due to report to prison. The film premiered as a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival earlier this month.
The documentary has drawn significant attention from audiences and cinephiles, with its rating climbing rapidly during its opening weekend. Notably, it became the highest-rated feature film of all time on Letterboxd, reaching an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 following its theatrical release. The film’s reception extended to major critical aggregators as well, where it posted similarly exceptional scores. On Rotten Tomatoes, You Can See Everything held a 99% critics’ score based on more than 100 reviews, alongside a 99% audience score. Sony has acquired the rights to release the film in many other international markets, including Germany, Austria, Latin America, Scandinavia, Greece, the Middle East, Israel, South Africa, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.
