Shah Rukh Khan announced the UNIFYD Festival, a music and culture event in Abu Dhabi featuring headliners Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam, and Karan Aujla on March 20, 2027.

Shah Rukh Khan has announced a new festival that will bring artists, music and fans from different parts of the world under one roof. And yes, the first lineup already has some familiar names. Called UNIFYD Festival, the one-day event will take place in March 2027. SRK has curated the festival, which aims to celebrate Indian music and culture and bring together fans from India, the Middle East and the global South Asian community.

Save the date! UNIFYD Festival will be held on March 20, 2027, at Etihad Live on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The event will have performances across multiple stages, with 15 artists expected to take part. The organisers are yet to reveal the complete lineup, so there could be more names joining the party in the coming weeks.

The first three names on the lineup should get music fans excited. Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam and Karan Aujla will headline the festival, bringing together three very different sounds and musical styles.

While Arijit is known for his soulful tracks, Sonu has given us songs that have stayed popular for years, and Karan Aujla has plenty of Punjabi hits to his name. With all three on the same bill, the festival is looking to bring different generations of music fans together.

More artists are expected to be announced soon.

SRK has curated UNIFYD Festival, which will be produced by D'YAVOL Live, the live entertainment and cultural division of the luxury collective D'YAVOL, along with District, an entertainment and ticketing platform.

Sharing his thoughts on the idea, Shah Rukh Khan said, "I've spent a lifetime telling stories on screen and watching them bring people together. Music has that same extraordinary power." He added that the festival would bring leading Indian artists together on one stage, with a focus on scale, energy and grandeur.

The event is being organised in collaboration with Miral and Experience Abu Dhabi, with Emirates NBD coming on board as an associate partner. While Abu Dhabi will host the first edition, the organisers have plans to take the festival to other cities around the world.

D'YAVOL co-founder Bunty Singh spoke about how Indian music is reaching more listeners internationally. He said the festival aims to give Indian music a platform that reflects its growing cultural influence, with the lineup, production and overall experience planned to match the scale of the event.

District CEO Rahul Ganjoo also spoke about the festival's cultural side. He noted that Indian culture goes beyond music genres and generations, adding that the aim is to create an experience that audiences and the South Asian diaspora remember long after the performances end.
