About Salman Khan’s Maatrubhumi
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film was earlier called Battle of Galwan. It is based on the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley. The film was originally scheduled to release in April but was postponed indefinitely. The makers also considered other release dates, including the Independence Day weekend, but the film did not arrive in theatres then either.
In July, Salman Khan Films dismissed reports of CBFC-related problems. The production house clarified that the film had not even been submitted to the board for certification at that point. While the government NOC is an important step, the film still needs CBFC certification before it can be released in theatres.
According to the report, the makers are looking at November 13, 2026, for the film’s release. This would put it a week after Diwali. However, the date has not been officially confirmed.
Recently, the latest song from the film, Teri Sexy Beauty, was released. Sharing a clip of the song sung by him, Salman wrote, “Departure time 5:12 am…. Flight on time, 2 pegs down, taking off with my sexy beauty… pata nahi kahaan mai land karoon #TeriSexyBeauty Out Now."
This is not the first time Salman has lent his vocals to a track. Over the years, Salman has sung many tracks for his films, including ‘Chandi Ki Daal Par’ from Hello Brother, which marked one of his earliest singing outings.
