Sai Pallavi has a lot going on at the moment. After the release of Ramayana: Part 1, the actress is now gearing up for her next film, OM, which also stars Dhanush and Mammootty. She attended the film's audio launch in Chennai on November 6, where she spoke about working with the cast and director Rajkumar Periasamy. She also looked back at one of her most popular songs with Dhanush.

The event was held at Sairam Engineering College, a day after Ramayana: Part 1 hit theatres. During the event, Sai spoke about her reunion with Dhanush, her experience on the sets of OM and her co-stars. The action thriller, written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, will release in theatres on November 20.

Sai Pallavi and Dhanush first worked together in Maari 2. Their song Rowdy Baby became hugely popular, and it looks like fans still remember her as much as they remember the song!

At the OM audio launch, Sai shared that even children recognise her because of the track. Talking about working with Dhanush again, she said, "Ippo varaikkum when I see kids, they call me Rowdy Baby Akka. I was hoping that I would share screen space with him again, and this is a totally different space,"

Sai also spoke about how she came on board for OM. She recalled telling director Rajkumar Periasamy that she wanted to work with him in his next film. He eventually made a film with her in mind. She also shared that the director had more confidence in her playing a police officer than she had in herself. The actress thanked the team that worked on the film's stunt sequences.

Praising the director, she said, "Rajkumar sir has written the character with lots of layers. He is every actress's dream director, the way he writes his women characters rocks."

Sai also had some sweet things to say about her co-star Mammootty. She was impressed by the veteran actor's energy on the sets and said he was always full of life.

Talking about him, she said, "Mammootty sir is above 70 but I've not seen such an energetic actor on the sets. He's like a child, he used to make some adorable expressions even before they call action."

Sai Pallavi was recently seen playing Goddess Sita in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Part 1. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. Ravie Dubey, Arun Govil, Indira Krishna, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi and Sheeba Chadha are also part of the cast.

The actress will next be seen in OM, which features Dhanush, Mammootty, Sreeleela, Naseeruddin Shah and Indrans. The film is produced by Wunderbar Films and RTake Studios. OM was earlier scheduled to release on October 16 but was later postponed. The film will now arrive in cinemas on November 20.
