Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part One crossed ₹20 crore in worldwide advance bookings by October 25. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, started strong after bookings opened on Dussehra. With the November 5 release date approaching, the Hindi version leads sales, while regional versions also show a very positive response.

Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part One, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, has crossed ₹20 crore in worldwide advance bookings ten days before its November release.

Ranbir Kapoor and Yash's Ramayana is getting a good response even before reaching theatres. Advance bookings for the film began on Dussehra, and tickets are still selling across different markets. With the November 5 release date getting closer, more shows are also opening in regional languages.

Ramayana has earned around ₹10 crore from advance bookings in India. More than two lakh tickets have already been sold for the opening day. The Hindi version is leading the bookings, accounting for 87% of the total advance sales in India. The Kannada version is also doing well. It is now available in around 100 screens and has crossed ₹1 crore in advance bookings. Some theatres have reported up to 80% occupancy for morning shows.

The Telugu version has opened in only around 10-15 screens so far but is heading towards ₹40 lakh in advance bookings. The Telugu version is seeing a strong response despite having fewer shows. The Hindi version is available across more than 4,200 shows in India for its opening day. The Telugu and Kannada versions together have just over 400 shows.

According to Sacnilk, four out of the 44 Telugu shows currently open for bookings are already houseful. On-ground tracking suggests that the number of houseful shows across all languages could cross a dozen after blocked seats are taken into account.

The film is also seeing good advance bookings in North America. Paid previews are scheduled for November 4, a day before its release. According to Sacnilk, tickets worth $550,000 have been sold for these previews. The film has also earned $400,000 from advance bookings for its release day in overseas markets.

With these numbers, Ramayana's worldwide advance-booking collection crossed ₹20 crore by the end of October 25, ten days before its release.

Meanwhile, if a report is to be believed, the second instalment of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana may not arrive in theatres during Diwali 2027 as originally planned. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, producer Namit Malhotra is considering pushing the film's release to Diwali 2028 to allow more time for filming and production.

"Ramayana is an emotion for Namit Malhotra, and he is leaving no stone unturned to present the Indian audience with a cinema-watching experience like never before," a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed.

The source then added, "While the first part is set to release in a couple of days from now, the second instalment needs some more shooting time." Explaining the scale of the sequel, the insider further said, "As everyone knows, the real scale of Ramayana is in the second part, where the war actually unfolds."

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra and Yash, Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The ensemble cast of the film also includes Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, alongside several other actors.
