Alia Bhatt shared photos of Ranbir Kapoor on the sets of Ramayana Part 1 on November 5. She praised him for his dedication as Lord Rama while finding time for their daughter, Raha. Alia wrote, "You poured everything into this one and somehow still had all of it left."
While playing the role of Lord Rama, Ranbir Kapoor managed to completely immerse himself in the film while also managing to devote time for his daughter, Raha Kapoor. Ranbir's partner, wife Alia Bhatt, shared some behind-the-scenes images of Raha on set with her father as Lord Rama and wrote a sweet note praising his dedication both as an actor and a father. The Indian film Ramayana Part 1, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has released in theatres worldwide a day before Raha's birthday. The little one will be turning four on November 6, 2026.
As a proud wife, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram on November 5, the release date of Ramayana Part 1, with never-before-seen pictures of daughter Raha visiting her father, Ranbir, on the sets of the film. In the pics, little Raha is wearing white and blue overalls as she watches her father in action as Lord Rama. Ranbir kisses Raha's cheek in one photo, while Raha clings to Ranbir's leg on the sets of Ramayana. Alia wrote in her post, "You poured everything into this one and somehow still had all of it left for her."
Alia added that she was so proud of Ranbir and every single person who brought their heart and soul to this incredible experience at the movies. She stated that some stories are bigger than all of us, and "Ramayana is one of them." Ranbir has a dual role of Lord Rama and Parashurama in the first part of the epic saga. He will reprise his role in the sequel, which is due to release in theatres on Diwali 2028.
Ramayana Part 1 also features Sai Pallavi as Sita, Lord Rama's wife; Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, his younger brother; and Yash as Ravana, the king of Lanka. Produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios and Yash's Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana is now playing worldwide in Hindi, English and several other languages.
Interestingly, Alia played a character called Sita in her previous spy film, Alpha, this year. She and husband Ranbir are working together again for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period romance drama Love & War. Co-starring Vicky Kaushal, the Hindi film will be released in theatres on January 21, 2027.
In 2027, Alia will also be part of the next saga of the folk horror sequel, Tumbbad 2: Pralay Aayega. She joins Sohum Shah and Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the film directed by Adesh Prasad.
