About Ram Charan

Ram Charan was last seen in Peddi, which received mixed to positive reviews from the masses and critics. It emerged as a box office success. However, it had been in the news for allegedly showing lead actress Janhvi Kapoor in an objectionable manner.

Janhvi herself spoke about it on Koffee With Karan 9. She said, "The reason I felt apprehensive to talk about it was because I worked very hard on that film. I really didn't know what to say or if there was anything really to say, even because it's important that I take ownership of my half of whatever that fiasco was. Because it weighs heavily on my consciousness, the sort of negative impact a narrative like that can have on our society, specific to my gender. That shame, I will always carry with me."

Coming back to Sukumar, his last film, Pushpa 2 with Allu Arjun turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office.
