Prajakta Koli says her online community gives her confidence on film sets. While working on JugJugg Jeeyo, she felt supported by her fans rather than worrying about co-stars. She said, “In most rooms I walk in with a bit of confidence because of my community online.” She remains very grateful.

Prajakta Koli has spoken about how the audience that supported her journey as a digital creator continues to influence her confidence as an actor. Appearing on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s Double Date alongside her husband, Vrishank, Kohli discussed her transition to films and recalled working on JugJugg Jeeyo, which she described as her biggest film at the time.

Reflecting on how her online community has shaped her approach to professional opportunities, Kohli explained that she did not enter the sets of the family drama preoccupied with whether her co-stars would approve of her performance. Instead, she was conscious of the audience that had followed her work and would be watching her on the big screen.

She said, “In most rooms I walk in with a bit of confidence because of my community online. I don’t want to say this without humility, but I am very grateful for the work. When I was doing JugJugg Jeeyo, it was my biggest film, with bigger people and a great star cast. Mere dimaag mein ye thought nahi tha (There wasn’t a thought like) ki hope they like me or not. My thought was that everybody who buys tickets for me should also love me, without taking away anything from Anil sir, Neetu ma’am or Kiara. Including Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul to VD (Varun Dhawan), everybody was so nice to me.”

Her comments offer a glimpse into how Kohli views her place in the film industry after establishing herself online. Rather than focusing solely on fitting into an unfamiliar professional environment, she emphasised the importance of the audience that has supported her across platforms. Her experience on JugJugg Jeeyo also gave her an opportunity to work alongside established actors, including Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan.

The episode also marked the first time Koli and Vrishank appeared together on Double Date. The couple discussed their relationship, recalling how they first met, how their friendship developed into companionship and who proposed first. They also spoke about balancing their respective professional lives while supporting each other’s ambitions.

Through the conversation, Koli addressed both her evolving career and the personal experiences that have shaped her journey. The episode brings together reflections on her move from digital content creation to acting and a more personal account of her relationship with Vrishank.
