Kareena and Shahid were among the celebrities present at the IIFA 2027 press conference. The two actors appeared together on stage with Salman and other stars before greeting each other off stage.

Kareena wore an all-black outfit, while Shahid opted for a white ensemble. After stepping away from the stage, they exchanged a hug.

This isn't the first time the former couple has reunited at an IIFA event. They also greeted each other warmly at the 2025 ceremony in Jaipur. That moment went viral, with fans bringing up their film Jab We Met and its iconic characters, Geet and Aditya.

Shahid Kapoor later spoke about the attention surrounding their reunion during an interaction with the media at the IIFA Digital Awards.

"For us, it's nothing new... Aaj stage pe mile aur hum log idhar udhar milte rehte hain (Today we met on stage, but we keep running into each other here and there), but it's totally normal for us... If people felt nice, it's nice," he said back then.

Salman Khan Greets Kareena Kapoor At The Event

Salman Khan was another major presence at the Mumbai gathering. The superstar was seen greeting Kareena with a hug before they posed together for photographs.

Salman arrived in a dark blazer worn over a black T-shirt, paired with distressed jeans. Kareena chose an all-black look featuring a fitted top and a long skirt with a thigh-high slit.

Salman and Kareena have shared screen space in films such as Bodyguard and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Salman Khan's Appearance Comes Amid Heightened Security

Salman's appearance at the event comes days after a firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai's Juhu area on October 18.

The incident has renewed concerns about security in the Hindi film industry. Threats mentioning Salman Khan have also been attributed to individuals claiming links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

IIFA 2027 To Take Place In Abu Dhabi

The Mumbai press conference was held ahead of the 2027 International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), which are scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi.

Salman and Kareena are among the Bollywood stars announced for the event. Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are also part of the star-studded line-up, alongside other performers.

The press conference brought several celebrities together to mark the upcoming edition of the awards.

Shahid and Kareena were in a relationship from 2004 to 2007 and were among Bollywood's most talked-about couples at the time. Their relationship ended around the period they were filming Jab We Met, which later became one of the most popular films of their careers.

The two also appeared together in films such as Fida, Chup Chup Ke and Milenge Milenge.

Both actors have since moved on in their personal lives. Kareena married Saif Ali Khan in 2012.

Shahid married Mira Rajput on July 7, 2015, in an intimate ceremony in Delhi. The couple have two children, daughter Misha, born in 2016, and son Zain, born in 2018.
