Easily the best first half of a tamil movie since a long time. Comedy was on point and the whole gang of yogi babu, bjorn and namo narayana were amazing, superb situational comedy from nelson. The tea shop scene was pure mass and the interval scene was another highlight. Perfect first half 5/5. But second half, especially after sjs, vidya came into the picture, the pace dropped. The whole goa track seemed like doctor lite. The same mansion, hotel, before was child smuggling now idol dealers etc. pace dropped from start of 2nd half till the end of bindaas song for me. But picked up again after that song. The house scene with rathamaarey bgm was emotional max. Climax was another mass scene with a lead to part 3. But with such a fun frolic first half, second half seemed dull in comparison, atleast 15 mins could have been shortened for a more racy pacing. Good thing the cameos dont take much screen space, its a rajini show all the way. Both al bolelo and bindass was flat. Kaavala reference got more cheers than both. The hrithik cameo and the scene in the mansion that follows reminded me of simran cameo in gbu kinda. First half peak. 2nd half above average. Liked the one sun one moon bgm especially at the tea shop scene. Overall 4/5 for me. First half alone is enough to make me watch again."
