Qazi Touqeer has finally cleared the confusion around his marital status on Bigg Boss 20. During Sunday's episode, host Salman Khan directly asked the singer whether he was married and if his wife was a dentist, prompting Qazi to speak openly about Hifsa and the role she has played in his life.
Qazi confirmed that he is married and revealed that Hifsa, who is a dentist, was also the one who encouraged him to participate in Bigg Boss. Soon after the episode aired, Hifsa responded with an emotional Instagram post, saying she was proud of his journey and hoped to see him lift the trophy.
Qazi Touqeer Opens Up About His Wife Hifsa
Salman asked Qazi, "So, Qazi, why did you lie about your marriage? Are you married or not? Is your wife a dentist or not?"
Qazi replied, "I do have a wife. She is a dentist, and her name is Hifsa. Hifsa means lioness. She has supported me a lot. She was actually the one who encouraged me to participate in this show. She is the biggest fan of Bigg Boss."
He went on to say that Hifsa has been one of his strongest pillars.
"I feel that God had decided when I was born that I would marry her. I do everything for her happiness, sir. But I love you, Hifsa," Qazi said.
He also expressed his feelings through a few lines from the song I Love You from Salman Khan's Bodyguard.
Qazi further explained that he had liked Hifsa and wanted to marry her, and once she reciprocated his feelings, the two decided to take the relationship forward. He revealed that theirs was an arranged marriage, but they eventually fell in love.
Hifsa Responds With An Emotional Message
After the episode, Hifsa shared a lengthy note for Qazi on Instagram.
"I LOVE YOU MORE, MY JAAN, MY JAANE-JAAN! ❤️ I am SO incredibly proud of you. You deserve every bit of the love, respect, and honour that is coming your way," she wrote.
She added, "This is YOUR time to rock, shine, and conquer the world! I believe in your vision, your calibre, and your extraordinary ability to turn the impossible into reality."
Hifsa also praised Qazi's honesty and backed him to win the season.
"Your honesty is your greatest strength, my dear. It is what sets you apart and makes you so special. I truly believe that very soon, I will see you holding that BB20 trophy, with your head held high, surrounded by the pride, dignity, and respect you wholeheartedly deserve."

Omar Abdullah Says He Will Vote For Qazi
Qazi has also received support from Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
During a podcast with journalist Shubhankar Mishra, Omar recalled watching Qazi perform at concerts and praised his singing.
"Touqeer ko maine 1-2 concerts mai dekha, accha gaate hain," he said.
Referring to Qazi's Fame Gurukul victory in 2005, Omar said he hoped the singer would now win Bigg Boss 20 for Jammu and Kashmir.
"I will vote for him," he said.
