Anupam Kher finished shooting for his 556th film, Out of Fashion, in Stockholm on November 7. The actor called the project a special experience. He said, “It was special from the moment I read the script.” Kher thanked the team for their warmth and support during his time in Sweden.
Anupam Kher has completed his portions for Out of Fashion, his 556th film. The actor shared the update on November 7 through a social media post, reflecting on his experience of working on the Swedish-Belgian production in Stockholm. He also thanked the cast and crew for making his time on the project memorable.
Calling it his first Swedish film, Anupam said he was drawn to the project after reading its script. He added that the experience had given him an opportunity to work with a new team and form lasting memories during his stay in the Swedish capital.
“It was special from the moment I read the script. A Swedish film, a first for me, and the beginning of an experience that has enriched me in so many ways. I’ve had the most wonderful time in Stockholm, working creatively and sharing these days with an extraordinary group of people!” he wrote.
The actor also spoke about the warmth he received from the team despite the cold weather in Stockholm. “It may have been cold outside, but there was so much warmth in every heart: love, affection, respect and generosity. I came here to make a film, and I’ve made special memories too. That is something I’ll carry with me long after the cameras stop rolling,” he added.

In his post, Anupam thanked writer and co-star Sunil Munshi, director Jens Johnson, and producers Julia and Siri. He also acknowledged his fellow actors, including Noah, along with cinematographer Sophia, makeup artist Daniela and other members of the crew.
Anupam revealed that the production still has four weeks of shooting left after his schedule. “I will miss you all, and I will miss being there with you. But while I may be leaving physically, emotionally I’ll always be with you,” he wrote, wishing the team success with the remaining work.
The actor has had a busy period, returning to theatre with Jaane Pehchaane Anjaane after several years. He has also lent his voice to Jatayu in Ramayana.
