Venkatesh Daggubati's Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 (AK 47) is seeing a slowdown at the box office after enjoying a promising opening weekend. The Trivikram Srinivas directorial has collected Rs 37.40 crore in India net earnings in five days, taking its worldwide gross to Rs 58.95 crore. However, the film has recorded consecutive drops in its weekday collections, making fans question about its theatrical earnings. AK 47 also faces a considerable gap when compared with Trivikram's 2020 blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which had registered a collection at the same stage of its theatrical run.

Venkatesh Daggubati's Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 (AK 47) collected Rs 2.60 crore in India net earnings on its fifth day, Tuesday, from 2,962 shows. According to Sacnilk, the film's domestic net collection has reached Rs 37.40 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 43.85 crore.

The Telugu family entertainer added Rs 50 lakh from overseas markets on Tuesday, taking its international gross collection to Rs 15.10 crore. Its worldwide gross has reached Rs 58.95 crore. The film also recorded estimated ticket sales of 2,16,775 on Day 5, taking its total ticket sales to approximately 25.96 lakh.

The weekday performance, however, has been a concern. After collecting Rs 9.75 crore on Friday, October 30, the film earned Rs 10.40 crore on Saturday and Rs 11.25 crore on Sunday. Its collections fell to Rs 3.40 crore on Monday before declining further to Rs 2.60 crore on Tuesday, marking a 23.5 percent drop.

Trivikram Srinivas' previous directorial, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, starring Allu Arjun, recorded considerably higher numbers during its opening days. On its fifth day, January 16, 2020, the film collected Rs 16.50 crore in India net earnings, taking its five-day domestic nett total to Rs 100.70 crore. Its worldwide gross had reached approximately Rs 139.90 crore.

The blockbuster eventually earned an estimated Rs 262-280 crore worldwide and become as one of the biggest Telugu hits of 2020. In comparison, AK 47 has a distance to cover if it is to reach similar box office heights.

AK 47 features Venkatesh Daggubati as Chittibabu and Srinidhi Shetty as Swarna. The supporting cast includes Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj, Yuvina Parthavi and Vennela Kishore. The story revolves around the family living at House No. 47. Their seemingly ordinary domestic lives take an unexpected turn when hidden secrets and unresolved tensions begin affecting relationships within the household.
