Rajesh Power Services, a leading EPC Contractors in Power Transmission & Distribution, reported that its net profit in the September quarter was up 34 per cent at ₹79 crore against ₹59 crore, on the back of better order execution.

Revenue increased to ₹929 crore (₹638 crore). The company has unexecuted order book of ₹3,647 crore as of September-end. It has executed projects worth ₹929 crore in the first half of this fiscal.

Kurang Panchal, Chairman & Managing Director, Rajesh Power Services said the company has registered a strong, broad-based growth in both our topline and bottomline due to on-time execution across GIS and AIS substation, EHV cable, transmission line and distribution projects.

The power transmission and distribution sector is in the midst of a once-in-a-generation investment cycle with peak power demand rising, ambitious renewable energy targets, and the large-scale expansion of the inter and intra-state transmission network envisaged under the National Electricity Plan and the Green Energy Corridor Phase III.

At the distribution level, the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme, grid modernisation, underground cabling in cities and the rapid growth of data centres and industrial corridors are driving demand for GIS substations and EHV cabling, the very segments where the company has deep domain expertise and a proven track record, he said.

The company's healthy aggregate order book with strong relationships with state utilities and growing presence across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha gives good revenue visibility for the coming many quarters, he added.

"We will continue to expand into new geographies, bid for larger value projects and invest in people, technology and execution capability. With strong momentum in the first half and favourable industry tailwinds, we are confident of delivering sustained, profitable growth in FY27 and beyond," said Panchal.
