Nifty 50 futures
Nifty (Oct) futures opened today's session higher at 22,671, against yesterday's close of 22,649. It rose after opening and is now trading at 22,800, up about 0.7 per cent.
The price action shows that the October futures formed a good base at 22,600 yesterday. The rally in today's early trade indicates that the bulls are gaining good traction now.
So, we anticipate the breakout of the nearest resistance at 22,820 soon. This can trigger a rally to 23,000.
However, if Nifty futures falls off the barrier, it can find support at 22,680 and 22,600. In case the latter is breached, the outlook can turn bearish, potentially leading to a decline to 22,400.
Nevertheless, the prevailing chart set-up shows the probability for a rally is high.
