MakeMyTrip adjusted net profit grew 27% to $46.2 million for the quarter ending September 2026. Gross bookings rose to $2.72 billion as domestic travel demand stayed strong. CEO Rajesh Magow said, "We delivered strong growth despite a challenging travel environment." The company used AI to help customers plan their trips better.

MakeMyTrip reported 27 per cent growth in adjusted net profit to $ 46.2 million in September end quarter on a year on year basis driven by an increase in gross bookings and margin expansion.

In the same period last year the company had reported adjusted net profit of $ 36.4 million.

Gross bookings rose 20.9 per cent to $ 2.72 billion on a year on year basis. While 10 per cent year on year rupee depreciation impacted it's reported numbers, revenue in constant currency terms grew 11.2 per cent to $ 235.2 million.

Strong growth in adjusted margins across air ticketing, hotels and bus segment contributed to growth.

"On the demand side, international long-haul outbound travel from India remained subdued, as elevated fuel prices led to higher airfares and the depreciation of the Indian Rupee increased the overall cost of international trips for our customers in India. These factors affected the growth of our international travel offerings and our results for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. Nevertheless, strong domestic travel demand during the quarter partially offset these factors and supported our overall performance," the company said.

"We delivered strong growth despite a challenging travel environment. Growth in hotels and ground transport underscored the resilience of our diversified portfolio and our ability to serve evolving customer needs. We are using AI to simplify travel planning and booking, supported by our extensive supply network, integrated distribution platform and trusted service. We continue to invest with discipline to capture India's long-term travel opportunity and deliver sustainable, profitable growth," group CEO Rajesh Magow said in a statement.
