Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd on Tuesday reported an 8.6 per cent drop in consolidated net profit to ₹40 crore for the second quarter of the current financial year.

The company had posted consolidated profit of ₹43.8 crore in the year-ago period.

Total income dropped to ₹334.4 crore in the second quarter of FY27, compared to ₹393.6 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, the company said in an exchange filing.

Commenting on the results, Aman Kirloskar, Managing Director of the company, said, "Our performance during the first half reflects the immediate headwinds of an increasingly volatile global landscape. Geopolitical tensions and shipping disruptions directly impacted the timing of our export clearances and dispatches, leading to temporary delays in certain consignments and deferred order finalisations. While these external uncertainties have moderated our near-term revenue and profitability, our core operational foundation remains resilient."
