Jewellery startup Eternz launched a zero-commission programme for women-led jewellery businesses. This initiative helps brands sell on the platform without paying sales commissions until December 2026. CEO Arthi Ramalingam said, "India has no shortage of talented women building jewellery businesses." Many brands now get access to logistics and marketing tools.
Jewellery marketplace Eternz has launched a zero-commission programme for women-led jewellery businesses, allowing eligible brands to sell on its platform without paying a commission on sales.
The initiative is open to newly onboarded brands where women hold a majority stake, subject to Eternz’s quality checks and approval. The programme will remain available until December 2026.
Eternz said the initiative covers businesses ranging from independent designers and homegrown labels to offline retailers and entrepreneurs primarily selling through social media and their own websites. Participating brands will also get access to Eternz’s customer base, logistics network and marketing tools.
The company currently has more than 400 brands and designers on its platform, of which over 35% are women-led, according to the company.
Arthi Ramalingam, Founder & CEO of Eternz, said: "India has no shortage of talented women building jewellery businesses. Many have incredible jewelry designs, deep customer relationships, and a strong understanding of their customers, but do not always have access to the digital infrastructure needed to scale beyond their existing networks."
For participating sellers, the platform will provide an online storefront and digital commerce infrastructure for showcasing products, managing inventory and catalogues, and serving customers. Eternz also offers jewellery-specific features such as virtual try-on and a virtual ring sizer.
The move comes as smaller jewellery brands increasingly use Instagram, WhatsApp, exhibitions and physical stores to acquire customers, but often face higher costs when expanding their online presence. Eternz is positioning its zero-commission model as a way to lower the cost of acquiring and serving customers online.
Founded by Arthi Ramalingam, Eternz operates as a marketplace for jewellery and watches. The company describes itself as a technology-led platform focused on digital discovery and commerce for the jewellery category.
The company did not disclose the expected number of brands to be onboarded under the initiative or the financial impact of waiving sales commissions.
The programme is currently limited to newly onboarded women-majority-owned brands and is subject to Eternz’s terms and conditions.
