BMW Motorrad India has launched the BMW F 450 GS Sport in India at ₹5.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant completes the F 450 GS range and gets additional equipment, including Sport Suspension, Gear Shift Assistant Pro and Riding Modes Pro. It also features exclusive Racing Red paintwork and changes to its exterior.
The BMW F 450 GS Sport gets a clear Rallye windscreen, black hand protectors, off-road footrests and a plastic engine guard. These additions distinguish it from the other variants in the F 450 GS range.
The motorcycle also gets Sport Suspension, while Gear Shift Assistant Pro allows clutchless gear changes. Riding Modes Pro adds further riding mode options to adapt the motorcycle to different riding conditions.
Engine and performance
The BMW F 450 GS is powered by a newly developed 420cc, two-cylinder, in-line engine that produces 48 hp and 43 Nm of torque. The motorcycle is designed for both road and off-road use, with a chassis and ergonomics developed to handle different riding conditions.
Its electronic equipment includes ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, Dynamic Brake Control and Engine Drag Control. The motorcycle also gets a 6.5-inch TFT display with a multi-controller for accessing riding information and connectivity functions.
Other design elements include an X-shaped full-LED headlight, the characteristic GS flyline and the signature front beak, which are part of BMW Motorrad's GS design language.
Price and finance
The BMW F 450 GS Sport is priced at ₹5.90 lakh (ex-showroom). BMW India Financial Services is offering finance schemes with monthly instalments starting at ₹9,999. The company has also announced two integrated finance offers with an all-in package.
Warranty and accessories
The motorcycle comes with a standard warranty of three years with unlimited kilometres. An extended warranty covering the fourth and fifth years is available as an option. BMW Motorrad also offers a 24x7 roadside assistance package.
Buyers can opt for additional accessories, including protection components, luggage equipment and navigation systems.
