പവർ ഗ്രിഡ് കോർപ്പറേഷനിൽ നിന്ന് 2,872 കോടി രൂപയുടെ നിർമ്മാണ കരാർ കെഇസി ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ സ്വന്തമാക്കി. 765 കെവി ട്രാൻസ്മിഷൻ ലൈനുകളുടെ രൂപകൽപ്പനയും നിർമ്മാണവുമാണ് പദ്ധതി. ഗുജറാത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 8.5 ജിഗാവാട്ട് പുനരുപയോഗ ഊർജ്ജം എത്തിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ഈ പദ്ധതി കമ്പനിയുടെ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നേട്ടമാണ്. ഇതോടെ ഈ വർഷത്തെ മൊത്തം ഓർഡറുകൾ 13,500 കോടി രൂപ കടന്നു.
KEC International on Saturday said it has secured orders worth ₹2,872 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) for the design, supply and installation of 765 kV transmission lines.
With these wins, the year-to-date order intake has crossed ₹13,500 crore, including ₹9,500 crore from the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business, the RPG Group company said in a statement.
According to the statement, KEC International, a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) major, has secured turnkey orders of ₹2,872 crore for design, supply and installation of 765 kV transmission lines from PGCIL.
"The orders secured from PGCIL include the largest-ever order for our India T&D business. These prestigious 765 kV projects, associated with the evacuation of 8.5 GW of renewable energy from Gujarat, have substantially expanded our India T&D order book," Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International said.
