Ramco Systems Q2 FY27 net profit drops to $0.05 million, down from $1.47 million a year ago
Ramco Systems, the software firm from Chennai's Ramco Group, reported a steep drop in net profit for the quarter ended September 2026 (Q2 FY27). Profit stood at $0.05 million, down from $1.47 million in the same quarter last year.
The software products company's consolidated revenue for the quarter stood at $19.2 million, down 5 per cent from $20.3 million in the same quarter last year. Growth in other expenses dragged down profit.
Annual recurring revenue stood at $12.09 million while the unexecuted order book was at $161 million, the company said in an exchange filing.
The filing also said that the company's cash balance as of Q2 FY27 was at $ 161 million.
"As we continue our transformation, our focus remains on strengthening execution discipline, improving organizational effectiveness, and building greater engineering talent density. We are sharpening our product development processes and accelerating the transition of our portfolio to fully AI-native solutions, enabling sustainable long-term growth," Abinav Raja, Managing Director, Ramco Systems, said.
Sandesh Bilagi, CEO, Ramco Systems, said that the company's AI-native products are generating strong interest among customers.
"Order booking this quarter was the highest in eight quarters. That is the clearest signal yet that our two priorities are working: making Ramco an AI-native company and scaling the business," he added.
