Why Are We Still at War With Iran?

A July assessment by America’s intelligence community says Iran is unlikely to change its stance despite intensive bombing. A senior U.S. official said the strikes have the opposite effect of what is intended. Military leaders also warned that further combat operations would dangerously deplete stockpiles of important munitions and weapons.
