Ripon residents to vote on funding for second fire engine

Ripon residents will vote by August 13 on a benefit assessment to fund a second fire engine. The district got 986 calls in 2025 where their single engine was busy. Chief Eric DeHart said, "This is the only thing that the fire district can do in order to raise funds."
