Where LSU football landed in preseason coaches poll

LSU football landed at No. 13 in the USA Today preseason coaches poll released Tuesday. While the team added many new players, they have a difficult schedule ahead. The Tigers open against Clemson on Sept. 5. Coaches currently view LSU as a borderline team for the College Football Playoff field.
