Chess brings young and old together at championship in Coventry

The British Chess Championships are currently held at the University of Warwick this month. The event brings together players of all ages as the sport grows in popularity. Six-year-old Riyaan, the youngest competitor, said, "I love checkmating my opponent." Many new players joined after the Covid lockdowns and online trends.
