2042 Olympics in New York? Gov. Hochul makes formal push

Governor Kathy Hochul visited Lake Placid to launch a formal bid for New York to host the 2042 Winter Olympics. A state-led committee started a yearlong evaluation of local infrastructure and venues. New York already got $750 million to update sites that hosted the Winter Games in 1932 and 1980.
