NSF Awards UCLA-Led Team for Quantum Tech

The U.S. National Science Foundation awarded a UCLA-led team $4 million to develop fault-tolerant quantum technology. Professor Eric Hudson said, "Quantum computers will only become useful when they can operate reliably despite the fragility of quantum information." The team now aims to build a blueprint for a 60-qubit machine.
