Suspected Old Trails arsonist Aaron Farinacci contacted over Spokane fires last year, court docs say

Aaron F. Farinacci, 37, faces first-degree arson charges after the Old Trails fire destroyed hundreds of Spokane homes Saturday. Court documents show police contacted him about two fires last summer but made no arrests. Prosecutor Preston McCollam said Farinacci “poses a danger to the community,” and he remains in jail.
