Kansas voters reject GOP-backed measure to directly elect state Supreme Court justices

Kansas voters rejected a Republican-backed measure on Tuesday to directly elect state Supreme Court justices. The proposal aimed to change how judges are chosen, but citizens chose to keep the current appointment system.
