California mom begged for help before ex gunned her down in front of their 4-year-old son: DA

Jeffery Kendall got 50 years to life in prison Monday for killing Brittany Ligdis in Pinole. On Feb. 16, 2024, Kendall broke into her home and shot her while their 4-year-old son watched. Prosecutors said the murder happened just 10 days after Ligdis ended their relationship. Justice was finally served.
