US stock market rallies close to its all-time high

The U.S. stock market rallied to the edge of its all-time high on Monday as easing oil prices calmed Wall Street. The S&P 500 jumped 1.5% while the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 693 points. Stocks got a lift as Brent crude sank 4.7% to $83.77, helping many companies.
