Cathay Pacific First-Half Profit Jumps on Strong Passenger, Cargo Traffic

Cathay Pacific Airways reported a net profit of 6.24 billion Hong Kong dollars for the first half of 2026. This figure showed a 71% jump from a year earlier. Strong passenger and cargo traffic helped the airline grow, even as it used more money to cover significantly higher fuel prices today.
