US soybean farmers race to meet global demand as farmland shrinks
U.S. soybean farmers are working to meet global demand as farmland fell 7% since 2000. The USDA reported that 307,000 farms were lost during this period. Farmer Barry Alexander said, "Land is going away every day, and that's one commodity they're not going to reproduce." Exports to China remain vital.
