Indian court sentences high-profile journalist to 10 years for rape

An Indian court sentenced journalist Tarun Tejpal to 10 years in prison for raping a colleague in 2013. The Bombay High Court overturned his earlier acquittal and ordered a $5,250 fine. "I believe I am a political victim," Tejpal said before the verdict. He must surrender within two weeks.
