Google reshuffles AI leadership as DeepMind CEO takes new role

Google reshuffled its AI leadership as DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis took a new role as Alphabet’s chief scientist. Koray Kavukcuoglu got promoted to lead DeepMind. Meanwhile, Jeff Dean and other key experts left to start Discovery Loop. Hassabis said, "It's time for AI to prove its unequivocal value to the world."
