Financial sector must build safeguards against AI risks before using it: CEA V Anantha Nageswaran

Chief Economic Adviser V Anantha Nageswaran on Friday said the financial sector must build safeguards against AI risks before using it. He warned that institutions should not wait for breaches to happen. "I don't think we will have the luxury of time, particularly in the financial sector," he added today.
