Police raid South Korea soccer federation offices in probe of hiring of Hong Myung-bo as coach

Police raided the Korea Football Association offices Thursday to investigate the 2024 hiring of coach Hong Myung-bo. Officials searched headquarters in Cheonan and Seoul for evidence of improper intervention. Hong said at a hearing, "People may think things were not so transparent, but I never once asked for special treatment."
